Do our materials and techniques for sharpening need to be altered in order to work with materials treated with DCT?

No. Sharpening is no more difficult. As the treatment effects the material in its totality, unlike a surface coating, a one-off treatment is all that is needed.

How much does the Nitroctechnics treatment cost?

The cost of the treatment is dependant on the weight, volume and quantity of the parts to be processed.

The savings that can be achieved due to lower maintenance costs, longer lifespan, and reduced consumption of consumable parts will, in the vast majority of cases, make the treatment extremely financially beneficial.

Will the treatment affect the dimensions and/or the hardness of the item?

No. When the item has had the proper heat treatment beforehand these problems will not occur.

The material has lost its magnetism due to a heat treatment that went wrong. What can I do?

DCT can rectify this problem. The treatment will actually completely restructure the material.

What is the expected improvement in the lifespan of my equipment after treatment?

This depends on the type of equipment and material that is being treated. There have already been a variety of results recorded.

Improvements of up to 400% are not exceptional.

What materials can be treated with DCT?

In general all materials would benefit from the treatment. Especially those steels with a high carbon content respond very favourably. Will Nitrotechnics carry out a no obligation test on our material?

Yes. Should it be evident that the treatment resulted in no noticeable improvement in the material Nitrotechnics will reimburse the costs of the treatment.
